ROAS & ROI calculator for affiliate campaigns
Ad platforms count conversions. Networks pay for approved ones. Enter spend, conversions, approval rate and payout to see the profit you actually book, and the approval, payout and CPC at which the campaign stops paying.
Result
In profit. Approval can drop to 52.5%, or CPC can rise to $0.46, before the campaign loses money.

What is a good ROAS?
Any ROAS above your break-even ROAS, which is total cost divided by ad spend. With no costs besides ads the floor is 1.00×; every dollar of accounts, proxies or fees pushes it higher. How far above the floor to aim depends on how much approval moves, and the approval headroom in the result shows the margin you have.
The formulas behind each number
Same math as our ROAS and ROI guide, with approval rate between the conversions a network reports and the ones it pays for. Total cost is ad spend plus other costs.
| Metric | Formula | What it tells you |
|---|---|---|
| Approved conversions | Conversions × Approval rate | What the network actually pays for. |
| Revenue | Approved × Payout | Money booked, not money reported. |
| ROAS | Revenue ÷ Ad spend | Revenue per $1 of ad spend. Ignores every other cost. |
| ROI | (Revenue − Total cost) ÷ Total cost × 100 | Profit on everything spent. The number to scale on. |
| CPA | Ad spend ÷ Approved | What one paid conversion cost. |
| EPC | Revenue ÷ Clicks | Earnings per click. EPC ÷ CPC equals ROAS. |
| Break-even ROAS | Total cost ÷ Ad spend | The ROAS floor once non-ad costs count. |
| Break-even approval | Total cost ÷ (Conversions × Payout) | Lowest approval that still covers costs. |
| Break-even payout | Total cost ÷ Approved | Lowest payout worth accepting at this approval. |
| Max CPA | Payout − Other costs ÷ Approved | Most you can pay per approved conversion. |
| Max CPC | (Revenue − Other costs) ÷ Clicks | Highest CPC before profit reaches zero. |
Where the math usually breaks
- 1
Platform ROAS
Ads Manager values the pixel event, not the approved conversion. Take conversions and payouts from the network's postback, not from the ad platform.
- 2
Approval lag
Nutra approvals and RevShare deposits settle days or weeks later. Calculate on day one and a campaign that would have paid looks like a loser.
- 3
Missing costs
Accounts, proxies, creatives and tracker fees belong in other costs. Leave them out and ROI reads higher than the bank balance.
- 4
Blended numbers
One ROAS across every creative and GEO hides the losers. Run the math per source, creative and offer.

DarkCore pulls Facebook spend automatically and builds approval rate from the conversion statuses your network posts back, so ROI updates as conversions are confirmed.
