Direct Links

A Direct Link is a stream-rule target: it replaces only the PWA installation step, not the domain, routing, cloaking, or analytics.

A Direct Link does not replace a stream. First create a Direct Link, then select it as a target in Traffic distribution. Traffic remains in the same flow with its rules, cloaking, tracking links, and analytics.

Direct Link removes the PWA installation step and takes traffic straight to the offer. When needed, add a Mini-PWA, webview bypass, and a push prompt. The Direct Link editor has four tabs: General, Open in browser, Enable notifications, and Mini-PWA.

A Direct Link does not inherit PWA or stream settings. Its push, webview, and Mini-PWA behavior is configured independently in the Direct Link editor.

Direct Link is not a “cut-down PWA”; it is a separate scenario for an audience that needs a faster, calmer path to the offer.

  • Choose it when a Google Play- or App Store-style page may look unfamiliar to an audience or create unnecessary distrust.
  • Use the direct path when installation adds no value and you need a shorter route to the offer.
  • Enable Mini-PWA when you need a home-screen icon without a full installation page.
  • Add a PWA and Direct Link as different variants in one rule to test which scenario converts better for a particular GEO or source.

In both cases, the stream domain, cloaking, filters, subs, tracking links, and analytics are retained.

Mini-PWA: manifest, theme colors, Android/iOS install prompts

The Enable Mini-PWA master switch turns a Direct Link into an installable app with a manifest, install prompt, and home-screen icon.

Redirect after installation

The Redirect after install switch (enabled by default) automatically redirects traffic to the offer URL after installation. Disable it to keep traffic in the Mini-PWA.

When Mini-PWA is disabled, the tab only keeps browser-tab title and favicon for the non-installable page.

Open in browser and notifications

The Open in browser (webview bypass) and Enable notifications (push prompt) tabs have the same kinds of fields as the corresponding blocks in the PWA editor, but their values are stored independently. Copy is language-specific; colors and icons belong to this Direct Link.

Multilingual setup

The Webview / Push / Mini-PWA tabs have a language panel (add a language, auto-translate, set default, sync). Copy is localized; colors, icons, styles, and switches are shared across all languages.
